Hierarchical structure

Hierarchical organizations contains of a top-to-bottom structure, where the chain of command always assumes the top management. This means that if an employee that exist in the bottom of the chain wants to be heard, their words must pass through the chain of command.

This is a quite out-dated model, but it is still pretty common in big corporations that produce few goods in high quantity. Instead, the trend is moving towards the decentralized organizational structure.
