Usage or utilization

Usage or utilization is a calculation in percentage of how much of the time that rooms and desks are booked during a work week. Around 70% booked space are considered an ideal utilization.

By dividing the total number of booked meeting rooms by the total hours in a work day or work week (e.g. 8 hour work day and 40 hour work week), you'll get the space utilization rate.
